WolveriNews -- The team held the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 14th and elected the 2008 Executive. We will be posting the new Executive shortly, which will be headed by new President Connie Bishop. Many thanks to those members of the serving Executive who finish their term at the end of the season! ..... It looks like next year's coaching staff is going to remain pretty much intact, but there's a possibility of some additions. Stay tuned during the off-season for announcements ..... The Provincial Finals are now complete. The Comets didn't miss a beat as they defeated the Calgary Hilltoppers 43-7 and are the Bantam Tier I Champs. In Tier II the Calgary Wildcats beat the Foothills Falcons 13-7 and in Tier III the Chargers defeated the Brooks Roadrunners 20-7 ..... CDMFA's only other Provincial Champs were the Chargers Atoms (Tier I) and the Black Raiders PeeWees (Tier II) ..... Congratulations to all of our Team Award Winners. We will be posting information on the Team News page soon. --The Webguy
